Frequently Asked Questions.
What are your age restrictions?
Students must be six years or older to participate in a multiple day camp. We take all ages for Play Days & Family Days. Private lessons are open to all ages, but for semi private & group lessons, students must be seven years or older.
What should be worn to ride?
Students should wear long pants. We recommend shoes with ankle support. We provide riding helmets.
What should be brought along to camp?
Students should come in riding clothes. They should bring a refillable water, with their name on it, sunscreen, & swimming gear; swim suit, towel, goggles, etc. If they do not like the lunch we provide or have dietary restrictions, they should bring a lunch & a couple snacks.
May I stay with my student?
We do not allow parents to stay for multiple day camps or Play Days. Parents are welcome to stay for lessons, but we don't recommend it. We find parents staying is distracting, students are more confident and independent without parents present.
Can beginners participate in a camp?
Yes, they can! Majority of our camp participants have never been around horses before. But we also have more advanced lesson students participate. For more advanced participants, we simply assign them a more advanced horse.
Do you take boarders?
We will only board horses for current lesson students. Contact us directly for information on that.
Do you stop services in the winter?
No, we go all year round! We simply ride and saddle inside our indoor arena. We can teach you our tricks to stay warm!
