Our Roots.
The AH-HA Riding School started in the winter of 2014, when Kylie started offering riding lessons as a favor to a couple families. It wasn't planned for it to be a business or even go past giving a couple lessons a week, but word got out. We received all new clients just based off of word of mouth recommendations.
In the summer 2015, we produced our first horse camp which we filled within two weeks of making the announcement. We were hooked from there! We have produced Camps every summer since. We have even become popular enough to have camps during the school year. Lessons are so popular we host competitions for our lesson students.
The growth we see in our students is our favorite part. We enjoy watching them gain confidence, physical and emotional toughness, along with giving them an experience they will never forget. That is why we do what we do!

Kylie Martinez
Kylie is a card holder of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association with professional barrel racing earnings of over $7,000. She is also a 1D barrel racing futurity money earner and futurity horse trainer.
Kylie is the owner and main operator of the school, teaching advanced riding lessons, and specializing in barrel racing.
For years I would teach and volunteer at a riding academy and that is where I learned how to ride. I started teaching lessons on my own in 2014, and AH-HA Riding School grew from there.

Joleen Martinez
Hi, I'm Joleen, Kylie's mom!
I am so fortunate to be a business partner with my daughter and the family of horses out back. I am responsible for crafts and lunch, as well as being part of communications with clients.
AH-HA Riding School has been a fun and challenging experience. It's great to see the students grow over the time they are with us! All of this came from taking Kylie to riding lessons when she was four years old.
We're ready to help your children find their own passion with horses!

John Martinez
I'm John, Kylie's dad and the ranch hand!
I have always enjoyed working outdoors. In the sunlight and air is the best place for me. Unfortunately, my job took me indoors. Now that I have retired, I am able to once again work outside.
I am enjoying this and I even have a tractor or two.
Life is good being a ranch hand!
